Dimino has worked his way up from delivery helper to a key role in a major US seafood supplier.
He is a member of the U.S. National Fisheries Institute's future leaders program and has traveled the globe procuring seafood and helping farmers, packers and exporters comply with sustainability.
IntraFish: How did you enter the seafood industry and why?
James Dimino: I was born and raised in the seafood industry. As a fourth generation fishmonger, the first 12 years of my life was spent in my family’s fish market, learning the basics, as well as the ins and outs of the business.
