Minister hails good news for Scottish salmon from Brussels
Responding to the salmon export figures issued by SSPO Scottish Fisheries Secretary Richard Lochhead said that Scottish salmon is celebrated across the world for its quality and provenance.
“This week I attended the largest seafood exhibition in the world in Brussels and saw for myself the large number of Scottish companies showcasing their produce," he said.
“These figures are the second highest on record which in these tough economic conditions worldwide is a significant achievement.
